Biographical note

Oyvind Flatnes is from Norway, and has an MA in medieval history from the University of Bergen. He is several times Norwegian and Nordic black powder shooting champion. He has previously published a book about black powder shooting and is a regular contributor of history and firearms articles to magazines and books. He owns www.svartkrutt.net, Scandinavia's premier black powder website.
