Divided into categories by function student, exhibition, residential, club, hotel, institution, commercial, restaurant/bar, corporate and show-flat this volume and its companion present the works of the winning designers in the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards from 2004. Whilst cultures within the Asia Pacific region have unique features respectively, they also have similar cultural and historical backgrounds. The Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards, sponsored by the Interior Design Association (Hong Kong) Ltd., creates a platform for the communication and cooperation of architects and interior designers in the region, and it is widely welcomed and supported by designers.
