Biographical note

Scott H. Ainsworth (Ph.D., Washington University) is associate professor of political science at the University of Georgia.  Throughout his work, he has combined formal political theory with more traditional, historical approaches.  His work on interest groups and lobbying has appeared in a wide array of journals, including the American Journal of Political Science, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Journal of Politics, Political Behavior, Theory & Decision, Journal of Theoretical Politics, and Social Science History.
