Biographical note

Joey is a firm believer in the idea that if you can’t be a good example, you have an obligation to be a horrible warning. He has a degree in linguistics which really only comes in handy when smart-asses try to correct his grammar at parties. He’s the author of various novels and books, including Lockpick Pornography, Overqualified, One Bloody Thing After Another, and others! He likes candy. Sour candies mostly. Fuzzy peaches. Sour grapes. But man, yeah. Candy. Emily Horne saw a gator in the wild for the first time this spring, and it was totally worth it! Worth...everything. Last year, with her friend Tim Maly, she wrote a book about surveillance called The Inspection House. Now that A Softer World is over, she’s going to concentrate on her five interests: buildings that used to be other types of buildings, regional snack foods, photographs of astronauts, food smuggling, and the ocean liner Normandie. My, she was yar... Ryan North is a New York Times-bestselling author and cartoonist. North is known for his online strip Dinosaur Comics, his critically acclaimed work on Marvel's Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, as well as his Eisner-award winning writing for the Adventure Time comic. He lives in Toronto with his wife Jenn and their dog Noam Chompsky, who is a good boy. Yes he is.
