Biographical note

Abigail Wheatley joined Usborne Publishing in 2002 after completing a doctorate on medieval castles. She's still writing books about castles, but has branched out into areas such as science, art and cookery. She lives in a little book-filled house in Kent, with views of a real castle from her bedroom window.
