Brushes With Genius is a personal journey of creative discovery by Anthony Harris who has had a long career as an artist and academic. It highlights the influence of eight great artists on his own work and his visits to places where they have produced some of their most iconic art. This lifetime story starts from his earliest days as a student at Reading University where he encountered Stanley Spencer. It continues for 70 years, in which time he has travelled extensively to create his own paintings in the literal footsteps of Gauguin, Van Gogh, Delacroix, Turner and others. www.anthonyharrisartist.com
