With its hybrid format of part devotional and part autobiography, Clay Jar, Cracked provides the authentic account of a woman’s walk through one of the most traumatic relational stories ever told. Cortney Donelson writes a powerful testimony about her personal marriage crisis and how God revealed Himself and became the lead role in securing an ending that defies cultural expectations and statistics. Clay Jar, Cracked shares a specific marriage story, but the thought-provoking messages throughout apply to any crisis one might experience.

An emotional and authentic story of how one woman pushed logic, expectations, and her raging anger aside in order to lean on the only one who could save her marriage.
Cortney Donelson bravely brings the gut-wrenching pain of a broken marriage to life in the pages of her book, Clay Jar, Cracked: When We're Broken But Not Shattered. It is a short but intense read with which many readers will identify. She writes about her marriage with unflinching clarity, beauty, and grace, and allows us to see not only the cracks, but the healing hand of the Father, who fills in our brokenness with His own perfect grace. I'm grateful she has chosen to share her journey of redemption with us. - Jerel Law, Author of the Son of Angels Series and The Shroud
