Biographical note

Dr. Eve-Marie Arce has been active throughout her career in statewide professional organizations that advocate for children. She has served as a member at large, secretary, and President (for two years) of the CAEYC. She has also been a California delegate for the NAEYC Affiliate Council. In 2005 she retired as a faculty member at Shasta College, having taught early childhood education and child psychology courses for twenty years. During that time she was active with the California Community College Early Childhood Educators and chaired the Chancellor's Advisory on Child Development and Instruction.
