Biographical note

Mark Kauffman DO, PA is a graduate of St. Francis University (Loretto, PA) Physician Assistant Program and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Currently, Dr. Kauffman is the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies, Director of the Accelerated Physician Assistant Pathway, and an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Michele Roth-Kauffman is a graduate of the St. Francis University, Loretto, PA, Physician Assistant Program and the Duquesne University Law School. She is currently the Chair of the Physician Assistant Department at Gannon University where she has taught Physical Diagnosis Labs for the past nine years. Ms. Roth-Kauffman became interested in legal issues while working as a Physician Assistant in surgery. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Ohio Supreme Court.She is also a volunteer attorney with Northwest Legal Services and frequently lectures Physician Assistants on legal medical issues.
