The I Can Write series introduces the concept of different text types to young readers. Each book examines a different genre, explaining what it is, what its main elements are, and what it is used for, before going on to provide tips and examples to help the reader write their own story, poem, report, diary, letter or email, or set of instructions. Simple, colourful sentence diagrams, along with photographs and illustrations, make these books visually appealing.
