Biographical note

Sian Brown fell in love with yarn and knitting while studying for her BA in Fashion and Textiles in Cheltenham, UK. She went on to become a knitwear designer, freelancing for commercial companies that supply the high street stores and for swatch companies selling design ideas to the US. Sian has taught at the London College of Fashion on their knitwear course. She now lives in Hastings and designs handknits for several magazines and yarn companies. She is a regular contributor to Knitting magazine.
