Biographical note

Adam Boduch has been involved with large-scale JavaScript development for nearly 10 years. Before moving to the frontend, he worked on several large-scale cloud computing products, using Python and Linux. No stranger to complexity, Adam has practical experience with real-world software systems, and the scaling challenges they pose. He is the author of several JavaScript books, including React and React Native, and is passionate about innovative user experiences and high performance. Jonathan Chaffer is a member of Rapid Development Group, a web development firm located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His work there includes overseeing and implementing projects in a wide variety of technologies, with an emphasis on PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. In the open source community, he has been very active in the Drupal CMS project, which has adopted jQuery as its JavaScript framework of choice. He is the creator of the Content Construction Kit, now a part of the Drupal core used for managing structured content. He is also responsible for major overhauls of Drupal's menu system and developer API reference. In his spare time, he designs board and card games for the hobby market. He lives in Grand Rapids with his wife, Jennifer. Karl Swedberg is a web developer at Fusionary Media in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he spends much of his time writing both client-side and server-side JavaScript.
