Biographical note

Sloan Wilson was born in Connecticut in 1920. He is a graduate of Harvard and a veteran of World War II, and he has worked as a reporter for Time-Life and as a college professor. He is the author of fifteen books, including A Summer Place. He lives in Virginia.
