Biographical note

Professor Dr. Fauziah Nordin is a professor of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. Born in Selangor, Malaysia in 1958, Professor Nordin received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University in 1983, USA, followed by a Masters in Business Administration degree from Western Illinois University, USA in 1985. In 1999, she received a PhD in Human Resource Management from Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Professor Nordin has been with University Teknologi MARA for slightly more than 30 years. 

Dr. Abdul Kadir Othman is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA. Currently, he is heading the Centre for Postgraduate and Professional Studies at the faculty. Holding this position requires him to ensure that the postgraduate students have quality educational experience that can be used in their job or to differentiate themselves from the rest of the applicants when entering into the job market. In doing so, he is responsible to ascertain that the curriculum is up-to-date and comparable with other universities, the facilities are sufficient, the academic staff are highly qualified and the activities are adequately challenged. He obtained his Diploma in Public Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA before continuing his Bachelor Degree in Corporate Administration and graduated in 1998. He then pursued his Master at Malaysian Graduate School of Management of Universiti Putra Malaysia and was conferred MSc in Management in 2001. He obtained his PhD in the field of organizational psychology in 2009 from Universiti Teknologi MARA. He is an active researcher and has received several national grants and contract research from leading organizations such as CFM, MTM and MPC.

Dr. Erne Suzila Kassim, received her Bachelor Degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, USA, majoring in Economics and Sociology. Upon her graduation, she worked

as a Quality Engineer and was responsible for managing the Total Airport Management Solutions for the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). She then studied for MSc in Information Technology and also a PhD in Information Technology, mainly specializing in digital innovations. She has been awarded with research grants for projects among others in the fields of e-learning, green IT, e-commerce and IT for micro-enterprises. She has written for numerous journal articles and conferences proceedings, and collaborated with Said Business School, University of Oxford for a book project and Tribhuvhan University, Nepal for a research in social commerce. Currently, she also serves as a reviewer for multiple international conferences and academic journals. Erne teaches courses in information systems and IT project management, focusing on pervasive technology, and the risks and quality management of business applications projects. Her research interests include social networking, business intelligence analytics for improving customer equity and big data for halal applications. Erne has experiences in leading and managing research and academic programs at the university, holding various positions as Head of Program, Research Coordinator, Internal Auditor and Head of Department. Erne is currently a Fellow at the Institute of Halal Management and Science, Universiti Teknologi MARA.
