Neurogenetic Therapies: Advancements in Treating Nervous System Disorders offers a comprehensive resource on the latest gene therapy techniques and their applications in treating neurological disorders. The book delves into various gene therapy methods, including genomic DNA-based therapies, vector-mediated delivery, and RNA interference-based gene silencing. It explores the use of these techniques in treating conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, spinal muscular atrophy, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Key topics include the molecular and genetic basis of nervous system disorders, the role of epigenetics, and the development of stem cell and genome editing therapies. With contributions from leading experts, the book also addresses regulatory and ethical considerations in gene therapy, providing a balanced perspective on the challenges and opportunities in this rapidly evolving field. Case studies and practical examples illustrate successful gene therapy treatments, offering valuable insights into translating research into clinical practice. This book is an essential resource for students, researchers, and scientists in neurogenetics, neurology, and molecular biology, as well as clinicians interested in the mechanisms and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

Dr. Pareek specializes in neuropharmacology and innovative drug delivery systems, focusing on neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. His research includes developing advanced drug delivery systems for immunomodulators like naringenin. Dr. Pareek leads a research team working on these critical health issues and has published over 45 research papers and authored five technical books. He holds an international formulation patent and has received numerous awards, including the Zee National Achievers Award 2023. His work is funded by national and international agencies such as ICMR, DST-SERB, DBT, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and the International Brain Research Organization. He serves as a Review Editor for Frontiers in Pharmacology and Frontiers in Oncology and reviews for leading journals by Elsevier, Springer, and Bentham. Dr. Arun Kumar Singh is an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Vivekanand Global University, Jaipur. He completed both his MPharm in Pharmaceutics and his PhD at Galgotias University, Greater Noida. His research strengths lie in AI-driven cancer research, nano-formulation, and the intersection of blockchain, IoT, machine learning, big data, and neuroscience with pharmaceutical science. He has authored books and contributed chapters on big data and cancer, and his work includes reviews published in reputable journals. His research appears across publishers such as IOP, Elsevier, CRC Press, and Wiley, reflecting a broad publication record and ongoing contributions to AI-enabled oncology and advanced drug delivery. Prof. Anil Chuturgoon is a medical biochemist with a PhD in toxicology and epigenetics. He is a professor and head of medical biochemistry and is currently the dean of research at the College of Health Sciences. He is a B-rated medical scientist by the National Research Foundation of South Africa; he has published over 200 research papers and 12 chapters in books, and he has edited two books and many conference proceedings. He actively researches epigenetic phenomena in toxicology and its implications in human diseases. He is a world expert on mycotoxins and their biological toxicity in humans. He pioneered research on fusariotoxins and epigenetics and their implication in disease.
