Biographical note

Fiona Patterson is a leading international expert in selection, assessment and innovation in organisations. She is the founding Director for Work Psychology Group, providing advice to organisations internationally and Visiting Professor to the University of London, UK, having previously held academic posts at the Universities of Cambridge, Nottingham and Sheffield.

Lara Zibarras is Senior Lecturer in Organizational Psychology at City, University of London, UK. As a chartered occupational psychologist and associate fellow of the British Psychological Society, Lara has conducted extensive selection assessment research in high-stakes settings, focusing on the applicants’ perspective, diversity and use of innovative assessment methods. She has published widely in academic journals and consulted for public and private sector organisations in the areas of selection, training, development and psychometric assessment.
