Biographical note

William J. Vincent, EdD, is currently an adjunct professor and is the former director of the general education wellness programme in the department of exercise sciences at Brigham Young University. He is the author or co-author of 4 books and more than 70 professional articles, 51 of which have appeared in refereed journals. Joseph P. Weir, PhD, is a professor in the doctor of physical therapy programme at Des Moines University and is a fellow of both the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Dr. Weir is the associate editor of the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research and is a member of the editorial board of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise.
