More than 130 representatives from ministries, private sector, research bodies, and industrial technology and support institutions, as well as international organizations met to discuss how to build awareness of the benefits of Technology Foresight in the Latin America and Caribbean Region. They reviewed the options on how to secure political support for an action plan and designed a plan for a Latin American Technology Foresight Network. This CD contains the proceedings of the meeting that was held in Trieste in 1999.
