But fortunately the Fat Controller sees Toby one day and invites him to join the Very Useful Engines. In this book we also meet a very kind lady that warns Thomas and Toby of a huge danger and we hear of the special gift awarded to her for her efforts. This is an easy, bilingual book to read and once again, like the other books in the series, it is very colourful. For £2.99, this is a bargain.
