Glen is as dead as a dodo's doornail, and what's more he has just lost his job. How he became a differently-alive ex-employee is a mystery and extremely inconvenient, in fact it's a bit of a downer. But one thing is certain - he'll stop at nothing to find out how he became a morbid member of the ungrateful undead. This unique new novel from best-selling author Nick Smith is as compelling as it is original.

Glen Glass is living a tedious existence; bickering with his wife and resentful of his kids, until death hands him the opportunity to become the hero he never was. Whilst re-evaluating his new-found freedom, Glen inadvertenly becomes involved in a plot worthy of one of his beloved spy movies. Battling his inherent idleness and the drawbacks of his new condition, he determines on finding the cause of his death, winning over the woman he loves and fighting against the forces which are increasingly endeavouring to restrict him and his kind. This unique new novel from bestselling author Nick Smith (Milk Treading, The Kitty Killer Cult) is an eerie glimpse into a grave new world of corrupted morality, misbalance of nature and scientific experimentation. As compelling as it is original, Undead on Arrival challenges our attitudes towards life, death and everything in between.
