Yehuda Elkana is rector and president of the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. Ivan Krastev is director of the Centre for Liberal Strategies in Sofia, Bulgaria. Elisio Macamo is a member of the cultural studies faculty of Bayreuth University in Germany.
