The first adventure in the awesome WARRIOR CATS series. Rusty could feel spiked teeth pricking into his neck. He writhed and squirmed, but he couldn't free himself. For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest according to laws laid down by their ancestors. But the ThunderClan cats are in grave danger as the sinister ShadowClan grows stronger every day. In the midst of this turmoil appears a house cat called Rusty, who may turn out to be the bravest warrior of all. "The best series ever!" ***** Amazon website

Warriors Into The Wild is the best book I've read in ages. It's really exciting and it's got lots of humour too! Even better than Brian Jaques’ Redwall. I can't wait for the next one! John Wood (age 12)

Biographical note

Erin Hunter is actually three people! She is experienced children's book writers Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry and Victoria Holmes who all live in the UK. Vicky comes up with the story ideas and makes sure the books stay consistent and Kate and Cherith take it in turns to write the books. They came up with the single name, Erin Hunter, to avoid confusing their readers by having books from the same series in different places on the bookshelf.
