His main fields of teaching, research and publication are EFL reading and writing development, and EFL teacher competence and teaching methodology. Bjørn Sørheim is a Reader in Linguistics and English Language Didactics at Sogn og Fjordane University College. He has long experience as an English teacher and teacher trainer at all levels.
