This fully revised textbook focuses on the major topics of globalization.
-The manuscript will be fully revised to contain up-to-date examples to illustrate the theories of globalization. Two new chapters will be provided. One will cover the effect of the emerging economies of India and China has had on globalization and the other will the huge impact the Internet has had on global communication.-We publised this second edition of this book at a time when we were running the social science list down. I feel that we can do so much better with this new edition by a proper marketing campaign including a text book mailing to key institutions. The contributors are truely international and we can use them to promote the book in these contries.-There are 64 dual honors degree courses in the UK for politics and globalization/international relations. On top of this most single honors politics degrees contain a module on globalization. A quick search on Amazon for globalization/international relations degree programs in the States reveals a long list of colleges including Boston University, University of Southern California, Western Illinois University and California State University. This book should be essential reading on these courses.
