Peter van Inwagen is the John Cardinal OHara Professor of Philosophy at University of Notre Dame. He is the author of An Essay on Free Will, Material Beings, God, Knowledge, and Mystery, and Ontology, Identity, and Modality. He has published many articles in leading journals on metaphysics and related topics.
