Biographical note
An award-winning journalist, Lucy Tandon Copp is also a graduate of the Penguin WriteNow 2022 editorial programme. As someone from a mixed British and Chinese-Malaysian background, Lucy is passionate about broadening representation in children’s literature.
Ya-Ling Huang was born in Taiwan and is now based in the UK. She completed her MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art and was highly commended for the Macmillan Illustration prize. Logan’s Lantern is her debut picture book.
