[<i>Methodology in the Use of the Old Testament in the New</i>] stands as a valuable assessment of the<i> status quaestionis</i> with regard to methods of study of the [Old Testament]âs use in the [New Testament; several of the essays suggest conceptual and methodological tools by which the field may grow in the future. The book in its entirety would serve as an excellent primer for advanced students who need to understand the scholarly terrain. All scholars who work in the field will find here something informative, and at times provocative, within the wide range of interests and expertise that the book presents.
