Biografisk notat

Jiachen Wang is a professor of China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing. He is directors of the Key Laboratory of Disaster Prevention and Disposal in Coal Mining, Ministry of Emergency Management, the Coal Industry Engineering Research Center of Top-Coal Caving Mining, and the Sino-Türkiye Research Center for Thick Coal Seam Mining. He is the Member and Secretary General of the 8th Mining Engineering/Oil and Gas Engineering Discipline Evaluation Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of The State Council, the member of the National Scientific and Technological Terms Examination Committee. He mainly engages in research on thick coal seam mining and mining ground control. He won the third National Innovation Medal, Sun Yueqi Energy Award, American Mining Metallurgical Exploration Association Syd S. Peng Mining Ground Control Award. He also won one first-class and three second-class of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and twelve first-class of Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published 6 books and more than 200 papers.

Weijie Wei is a lecturer and master supervisor of China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing. He is the Vice Chief Engineer of the Coal Industry Engineering Research Center of Top-Coal Caving Mining, and primarily engages in research on thick coal seam mining. He was selected for the China Association for Science and Technology’s Youth Talent Support Project. He has presided the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund, the Postdoctoral Special Funding Program, the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory Open Fund, and played a key role in more than 10 projects under the National Key Research and Development Program and enterprise projects. He won four first-class, seven second-class, and one third-class for Scientific and Technological Progress at the provincial or industry association level. He published over 30 high-level papers, with one selected for the 6th China Association for Science and Technology Excellent Scientific Paper Award, authored 2 books, granted 15 national invention patents, and obtained 6 software copyrights.
