Biographical note

Beth Steel's second play, Wonderland, was a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and won her the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Most Promising Playwright. Her other plays include Labyrinth at Hampstead Theatre, and The House of Shades at the Almeida Theatre, which was also a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.
