THE AUTHORS José Palmer and Reinette Lombard have years of experience teaching children who struggle with reading and spelling. The LEER MY LEES / LEARN TO READ series with its colourful illustrations is not only fun to read, but also promotes vocabulary and comprehension. Lori-Ann Preston lives in East- London with her husband and child. She’s been writing since she was eight years old and says that she gets her inspiration from other books, TV and movies but also from listening to, talking to and watching other people. She has won a Golden Boabab for Early Chapter Prize for her book The Ama-zings!, as well as the South African Writer’s Circle award for New Writer of the Year.
