Biographical note

G.S. Sawhney has served as Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, GNIT Greater Noida. Earlier he was at Lord Krishna College of Engineering, Ghaziabad in the same capacity. Prior to joining teaching, he had served for 28 years in the Corps of Engineers and for 10 years in industry. He has authored 10 books including Fundamentals of Computer Aided Manufacturing, Heat and Mass Transfer and Workshop Practice & Engineering Experiments (published by I.K. International Publishing House Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi).
