Professor Gershon C. Bacon held the Marcell and Maria Roth Chair in the History and Culture of Polish Jewry at Bar-Ilan University's Israel and Golda Koschitzky Department of Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry in Ramat Gan, Israel.
