Biografisk notat

For most of his professional life Hugh Davies worked at the Transport Research Laboratory at Crowthorne. In retirement Hugh Davies received PhD from the University of Reading for his study of Roman roads in Britain, which became a very successful book, Roads in Roman Britain (Tempus 2002).
