Award-winning author Julia Jarman was born in the city of Peterborough, and now lives in Riseley, Bedfordshire. She studied English and Drama at Manchester University and then qualified as a teacher. Lynne Chapman has been an illustrator for nearly 30 years and has more than 30 published books, some of which she has also written. Her book CLASS TWO AT THE ZOO won the Stockport School Book Awards and was featured on children's show Bookaboo. She specialises in illustrating picture books. The animals of the jungle are disgruntled - they're tired of the same old body parts. Hippo wants a longer tail, Monkey would like pink feathers, Elephant hates his trunk . . . So Lion, who just wants to get back to his nap, decides to set up a swap shop to sort out their grumblings. But when the animals realise how hard it is to live without their proper parts they decide that things should go back to normal.
Perfect for children and adults of all ages, there is endless fun to be had in spotting the mixed-up animal parts attached to strange creatures; creating wonderful, weird and unexpected animal mash-ups!
