In Italy, he contributed to the MAPS-LED Project at Mediterranea University, focusing on smart specialization strategies for local economic development. His research informs his teaching, offering students insights into global business practices. Dr Cantafio is also a key figure in the MBA and MSc International Business Management programs, specializing in postgraduate and doctoral supervision.Afzal Sayed Munna is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Bath and the University of Sunderland, both in the UK. He is the Digital Learning and Teaching Lead at the University of Sunderland, where he also lectures and serves on the Research Ethics Review Committee. Afzal is an External Examiner at multiple universities and holds several professional qualifications, including QTLS, CMgr, and SFHEA.
