Biografisk notat

Anne Phillips is an ex primary school teacher currently living and working in London. She is keenly interested in the natural world, sustainability and diversity, especially biodiversity. She works with a community gardening project which actively engages in horticulture, developing habitats, healthy living, well being and education. She is also involved with wildlife projects such as the Wildlife Trust. She believes that in our rapidly changing world the power of our children to be current and future spokespeople for and custodians of our precious planet is vital. Mira Miller is a retired primary school teacher with many years experience teaching art and running art clubs for children, her aim being to encourage every child to think of themselves as an artist. She works with a variety of techniques and media and enjoys selling and giving away pieces of work from her home in Berkshire. This is her first venture into illustrating and supporting her long time friend Anne in her passion for looking after our fragile planet. The small things really do matter. These days she spends her time avoiding housework in her studio and talking to her plants in the greenhouse. She is constantly amazed by the power and beauty of Mother Nature.
