Sam Taplin (Author)Sam Taplin grew up in a beautiful valley in Yorkshire, where he dreamed of being a writer, and after three years reading other people's books at university he started writing his own for Usborne. He's been doing it ever since. When he's not writing about lonely rabbits or inquisitive bears, he likes doing card tricks, writing songs and playing long games of chess by the fire.
Our sons very much loved books where you could press sounds that connected with the images, they really engaged in these.

These books, and their accompanying sounds, really help to bring the story to life for young children as they get to press the buttons and hear hens clucking or trucks beeping. Plus, the books are illustrated with adorable and colourful scenes, and the simple text is great to read along to.
Made For Mums
The Usbourne sound books make sounds throughout the story and my little girl really enjoyed these for her 1st birthday gift. She started to copy the sounds throughout and press the buttons herself so very interacting for kids. We have 4 (Seashore, Farm, Jungle and Zoo).
