When Nicola was 5 years old her parents banned Saturday morning television, and she has been drawing ever since. Born in Swaziland, Nicola grew up in Singapore and has lived in Papua New Guinea, Kenya, Edinburgh, London and Cambridge. She now lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Sjoerd, and their invisible dog, Chewbacca. Nicola has a Bachelor's degree in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art and an MA (Printmaking) from Camberwell College of Art. In her spare time she enjoys weightlifting and baking.Rainy days are lots of fun when you have a friend to show you how to play fair - a story for toddlers about empathy and the environment with a surprise rainbow pop-up.

Rabbit is going fishing, but it's raining and he does NOT like getting wet. So, he squeeeezes the rain cloud into his bag - now the rain can't spoil his day! Duck loves the rain, and he sets out to show that bossy bunny how important it is for plants, rivers and the crunchy carrots Rabbit so likes to eat. Can he convince Rabbit to see the sunny side of soggy days and set the cloud free?

Then Rabbit had a clever idea. He caught the rain cloud with his fishing rod and squeeeezed it into his bag.
"That's better," said Rabbit. "Now the rain can't spoil my day!"
