Biografisk notat

Rob lives in Suffolk, quite near a castle. With his dog Tuppy for company, he works from a shed in his garden, and writes every day. Sometimes, Tuppy and Rob walk round the castle, and they think about the next thing that Rob should write about. I have been working as a freelance Illustrator since 1985, after completing a degree at Kingston, specialising in Illustration. Over the years I’ve evolved into a fully paid up member of the digital age. After too many disasters with a bottle of ink, probably caused by the cat, I embraced the computer age. My work is heavily influenced by 1950’s and 60’s cartoons. Most of my images are digitally generated, however I nearly always begin with pencil on paper, creating a ‘hand drawn’ style.
