Biographical note

Richard Giulianotti is Professor in the School of Applied Social Sciences at Durham University. His research interests are in sport, globalization, crime and deviance, popular culture, qualitative research methods and social theory. He has published several books on various aspects of sport, particularly its international dimensions.
