Lucy Coats worked as a children's book editor before becoming a full-time writer, poet and journalist. She is widely respected for her lively retellings of myths, and is the author of many successful books including Atticus the Storyteller's 100 Greek Myths, the popular Beasts of Olympus series, and most recently the Cleo series about Cleopatra's childhood.
