Malcolm Mann realised soon after teaching that the published materials he was using in the classroom were often far from ideal. Finding himself in the right place at the right time in 1995, he decided to call himself an EFL materials writer as well as a teacher. Books for Macmillan include: Destination, Macmillan Intermediate Skills, (Speaking, Listening Writing), Laser, Macmillan Skills for First Certificate. Steve Taylore-Knowles has been involved in ELT for 17 years as a teacher, examiner, trainer and author. His most recent courses, published by Macmillan, are openMind and masterMind. He has also written a number of other successful courses including the Laser and Destination series for Macmillan.
