Prof. Jin Yang, Deputy Dean of School of Safety and Ocean Engineering, China University of Petroleum (Beijing)/Vice President of Research Institute of Marine Energy Engineering Technology/Deputy Director, Research Center for Natural Gas Hydrate Deposit Formation and Safe and Efficient Production, State Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Resources and Exploration. His main research interest are oil and gas exploration and development/ocean engineering. He won the second prize of the national technological invention (ranked second), the first prize of the national scientific and technological progress (ranked fifth), 3 times provincial and ministerial special prizes and 9 times provincial and ministerial first prizes; He also won China Outstanding Contribution Award of Ocean Engineering Consulting Association in 2015. He holds 17 national invention patents, published more than 100 academic papers and published 9 academic books.
