How to Knit the Seed Stitch Table Runner

Repeat row 1 until the length from the cast-on edge is approximately 38" (97 cm) or the desired length. Be sure to leave at least 2 yds (1.8 m) for binding off.

Step 1: K1.

Step 2: P1.

Step 3: Pass first stitch on right needle over second stitch and off the end of the needle (one stitch has been bound off).

Step 4: K1.

Step 5: Pass first stitch on right needle over second stitch and off the end of the needle (one stitch has been bound off).

Repeat bind off steps 2 to 5 until 1 stitch remains on needle. Cut yarn leaving a tail at least 8" (20 cm) long and pull through last stitch, tighten to secure.
