SAKI DOCKRILL is Professor of Contemporary History and International Security, at King's College London, UK. Previously, she was a John M. Olin Fellow at Yale University, USA, and recently a Senior Research Fellow at the Norwegian Nobel Institute, Norway. She is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and an Associate Fellow of the Institute for the Study of the Americas, University of London, and has written extensively on defence and security relations in Europe, USA and Asia in the Cold War.
