India, officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country, and the most populous democracy in the world. In this book we have gathered research papers from India concerned with disability research and prevention issues, health issues, rural health care, childhood immunisation and studies carried out in the slum areas of Delhi.
