"As international law develops, the need for an international law dictionary becomes apparent. This, coupled with recent events such as terrorism, has meant that such a resource has now become necessary.
Written in a very readable manner, the dictionary is well laid out so that a relevant definition can be located quickly. The definitions are also very clear and concise. The text is also cross-referenced which enables further research on an area to be undertaken
Whilst this is primarily a US textbook, the text is extremely useful for European lawyers as the text defines international treaties like the Treaty of Paris.
In conclusion, this is an excellent dictionary for anyone interested in international and comparative law. The definitions are well chosen and the text includes excellent cross references to further resources."

"...an extremely useful volume."

"...a helpful reference tool for attorneys who must find the words, phrases, and abbreviations not in common standard or legal dictionaries. Concise explanations of terms are provided, with cross-references to related terms and other sources where more information may be found. One of the most helpful features is the abundant list of treaties and case names...the book is very helpful as a desktop reference for a wide body of information not easily available elsewhere."
