This is an engaging, clearly written and appropriately focussed book with excellent use of both statute and key relevant cases. Law teachers often worry about students relying on introductory texts and not, for example, reading cases for themselves. They need not worry if they see a student with this book in their hands as it reinforces the need for appropriate use of statutes and cases… I cannot for the life of me think why a student taking constitutional law for the first time would not invest the relatively small amount of energy in reading this book through several times during their module and especially in the run up to the exam.
