Rachael Roberts has been an ELT teacher, trainer and writer for over 20 years, with experience in both the private and public sectors, in the UK and abroad. Her publications include General English coursebooks for adults and upper secondary, as well as coursebooks for IELTS. She holds a Cambridge Diploma in TEFLA and an MA in ELT (Distinction) from Warwick.Heather Buchanan is an experienced teacher trainer and English language teacher. She has taught English in France, Germany, Japan and the UK, and has experience of teaching General English, EAP, ESP and One to One classes. She has written published materials for primary and junior high schools, for teacher development, for examination boards as well as numerous in-house materials for schools and universities. She currently leads a Cambridge Delta and Masters course in the North of England. She is particularly interested in speaking and listening skills, in teacher development and in materials writing.Emma Pathare started teaching English in 1995, and has since taught in Spain, Italy and Dubai. She is co-author of a number of ELT books and resources, including Headway Academic Skills Level 1 Student and Teacher books and the Writing Support component of the Headway Plus General English course. Emma is an experienced CELTA and Trinity teacher trainer, and an examiner for several international and local exam bodies. She has a Master’s in ELT and Educational Technology from the University of Manchester, and her dissertation project, ‘The Vocabulary Course’, won the prestigious British Council International ELTons Award for Innovation in 2008. Academic publications include articles on vocabulary learning and global awareness, and her current main interest is literacy development for A1/A2 Arab learners of English.
