As a parent coach and parent educator, Janada Clark has worked with thousands of parents over the last 30 years coaching parents to raise cooperative children with good decision making skills. Clark is passionate about empowering parents with strategies that are both loving and effective. Her eight parenting strategies are practical and straightforward and easy to remember in the heat of the moment. In Rein in Your Rascal, Clark includes numerous stories from parents who have implemented these strategies with great success. Using the unique approach of dialogue between parent and child, she gives you a glimpse of how it would look talking with your child using these strategies-all with an empathetic and loving approach to parenting. Janada has taught parenting classes at family resource centers, schools, preschools and churches throughout the San Francisco Bay Area including classes at Stanford University in their WorkLife program. A popular speaker, Clark is an active member of her community speaking at various parent and mother's clubs. Clark is a former preschool director and elementary school teacher. She owned and operated a successful day care business for over 15 years. Clark holds a Masters in Marriage, Family and Child Counselling, a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development and a California teaching credential. Janada lives in Silicon Valley California with her husband and their enthusiastic yellow lab, Jessie.
